Day: 5, Challenges Remaining: 92

So today I dropped my first "tens place" digit. You don't know which one, because my actual weight is a secret, but I can give you an example. Say I went from 238 to 229 - the 3 changed to a 2 - hence the "dropping a tens place digit." It made me smile.

Food consumed:
4:00 PM - 2 cups of baby carrots each dipped in hummus and 1 can of diet coke
7:00 PM - 2 cans of tuna fish mixed with 1 tbs mayo and 4 tbs relish eaten on Saltine crackers
8:00 PM - 32 oz of water
10:00 PM - 2 slices of whole wheat grain bread & 1 can of diet coke
1:00 AM - 1 bag of rice cake snacks - if I'm gonna binge, rice cakes are the way to go. I'm frustrated about my need for a midnight snack, though. and half a glass of seltzer water.

Exercise completed:
1:00 PM - light swimming (mostly because I thought it would be good for my boo boos)

  1. Yeah, swimming is great for boo-boos and you! Even if all you do is walk as fast as you can in the shallow end, the benefits are great. You can also tread water in the deep end for as long as you can. Enjoy! And congrats on the 10s drop.

  2. Yeah, it's hard for me to tread when the "deep" end is only 5'. I tend to walk around. Swim in spurts. I just think of it as a way to stay active and get out of the apartment. That and it gets me reading instead of watching TV (I started The Catcher in the Rye yesterday).
